East Indian Rosewood Modern Dreadnought Guitar
The Modern Dreadnought is the newest model offered by Urlacher Guitars. It was a fun and challenging project to design and create a large body guitar. For Dreadnought number one, I went with the classic combination of East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce. The Spruce top has a dramatic bearclaw pattern while the rich brown old growth back and sides are nicely quartersawn. The tone is bold and balanced as excepted. The trebles ring through clear, as you might not expect with a guitar of this size.
